Replying to @toast For those of you who don't know, our angel cow Faith recently peacefully passed away at nearly 17 years old. Faith's been blind since she was a calf, after being taken from her mom at birth and living through an untreated eye infection. After we rescued her in 2008 and worked tirelessly to heal her body and mind, she lived a whole, happy life in sanctuary being showered with love and affection by all those who met her and learned her story. Throughout her life, she had growths on her eyes that had to be removed and eventually her right eye was taken over by cancer. Now a senior, her cancer returned and while she fought hard, it sadly spread and it was time to say goodbye. We were privileged to have known her and cared for her. Thank you so much for loving Faith with us, making her feel special, and sharing her story so that others could know her too 🎀
