This is just my opinion! In this video, I’m sharing a perspective I wish someone had told me earlier: if you’re thinking about doing your honours or postgraduate studies, it might be worth considering doing it immediately after completing your undergraduate degree before fully diving into the working world. Once you start a full-time job and begin navigating adulthood, it becomes much harder to balance academic demands with the pressures of everyday life. On top of that, the pace of academia doesn’t always match how fast most industries evolve, so returning to study later can sometimes feel like you’re shifting gears in a world that’s moved on. Of course, everyone’s journey is different, but I hope this helps someone who’s on the fence about what to do next.
