INFO:
In this culture motherhood can feel ordinary. No big deal. And especially not a calling. The light dims in people’s eyes when you say, ‘I’m a mom’ with no other titles to follow. The unspoken question is always, ‘Is that all?’ or ‘What else?’ It’s so easy to devalue that when that nagging voice tells us to figure it out, to do more, to prove we’re great. But I want to share what God showed me during our fast: This is a sacrifice. And sacrifice means setting aside yourself for the sake of another. And God, the ultimate planner, promises, ‘Do this with all your heart, and I’ll take care of the rest.’ He’s the Redeemer of time, working everything out in His perfect way. Yes, we are called to do amazing things. Yes, wealth, success, and impact are for us as wives and mothers. But don’t forget this: the Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t praised for her businesses or employees. She was called blessed because of how she showed up for her family in a way no one else could. My pastor has shared this wisdom with me before but sometimes it’s take that one moment for it click. I hope today it clicks for you too. Don’t let the world make you miss the beauty of this season. The legacy we’re building starts at home.
