Millions of children are experiencing the trauma of conflict, disaster, or displacement. Events that can have devastating and long-lasting effects on their mental health. Despite the urgent need to heal these invisible wounds, mental health support often fails to reach them. This is why UNICEF is developing the MindMe kit to help close that gap — a practical, evidence-based kit to help children manage stress, anxiety and emotions in crisis. This kit, an addition to UNICEF’s mental health and psychosocial support in emergencies, offers props, activities, digital tools and guidance grounded in science and research. Its strength lies in its co-creation process, developed in partnership with mental health experts and, importantly, children themselves, guaranteeing relevance and responsiveness to real-world needs. Watch to see how children in Romania, affected by the floods last September, are testing the different tools. Their feedback is key to co-creating the MindMe kit and part of UNICEF’s innovation process. #WCID Learn more about product innovation at UNICEF: https://unicef.link/4jtXdvx | UNICEF Supply
