An example of my broker work (using golden and non-golden ponies to show there is no bias!)… A few years ago a gorgeous family asked me to help find their very keen but nervous then 8yo daughter a first & a half pony… she needed something more than a kickalong but nothing sharp or whizzy. I put out one of my wanted ads & through the power of social media (this is where it’s a good force in the world) I was sent the dream (golden) pony. He wasn’t on the market but his owner explained that the ad described him so perfectly she knew she had to get in touch. Gorgeous George (his actual name) joined the family shortly afterwards… Fast forward a few years; the ride on GG had been taken over by a younger brother & our now 10yo jockey was ready for a new pony… she had gained so much confidence she was ready for a really fabulous 13.2hh. Enter ravishing Rio! I sourced him from a friend I was in pony club with down on Dartmoor & managed to fight off the hordes of interested buyers to secure him for this lovely family! I love getting updates on the partnership… they recently jumped their first gate out hunting (gulp) and flew around their first 80… who knows what they will be jumping by the summer! | Golden Ponies UK
